We have invested 30 years of effort in bringing this craft to the point where it is no longer a mystery, but a fascinating, entertaining subject in which anyone, regardless of manual dexterity, artistic gifts, or level of confidence, can be reasonably expected to master the basic skills. Our classroom is fully equipped with all the latest tools necessary for the practice of the craft. |

Schedule: Lessons are 2 hours long, once each week for 8 weeks. Evening classes and daytime classes are available. Classes for this session will be held on Mondays on the following dates:

| Our Instructor: Richard Marsh of South Weymouth conducts the classes. Mr. Marsh has more than 25 years' experience in stained glass work, and an extensive background in other arts and crafts disciplines. He has won numerous competitions and accepted many commissions during that period, and worked in a teaching capacity for the last 20 years. |

| Registration Fees: Beginners: The registration fee of $80.00 for the Beginners Course covers the instruction for 8 weekly sessions as well as the use of the tools in the classroom during that period. (The cost to purchase a similar set of tools would be in excess of $70.00.) The registration fee also includes the consumable materials used in the projects, such as glass, lead, foil, solder, flux, patterns and printed instruction material. Advanced: The registration fee for Advanced students is $70.00. Students will be required to purchase their own supplies due to the variety of projects undertaken. Discount Certificates: All students will receive certificates, enabling them to purchase supplies at a discount during the eight weeks that the classes are in session. Classroom Equipment: You will find that the classroom is completely outfitted. We will furnish you with a soldering iron, glass pliers and glass cutters for your own personal use. The classroom is also equipped with specialty tools, such as a glass grinder, glass score machine, glass cutting band saw and other devices, which you may wish to use from time to time. All these tools are for your use during class time, but remain our property. If you wish to buy your own tools, they are available at a discount from the regular price during the eight week period that the classes are in session. |
| What You Will Learn In our Beginner Course: We have designed this course for those who have never worked with stained glass, or for those who have a very elementary knowledge. We will teach you how to cut glass, how to work with copper foil and the proper way to solder. We will introduce you to all of the tools of the trade, as well as most of the materials including the various types of glass. When you have completed this course you will have several finished projects to show for it, as well as a mastery of the basic skills used in the craft of stained glass. | ![]() |
| What You Will Learn In Our Advanced Courses: You will want to take this course if you have completed the Beginner Course, or have previously mastered basic cutting and soldering techniques, and want to start on some more complicated projects. We will teach you how to do three-dimensional projects, such as boxes, terrariums. lamps and the like. The instructor will be able to give more personalized attention at this level. Before beginning this course you should have a project in mind so that you can start right in at the first session. |
